ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER - SALES (FMCG - F&B)

Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Willing to go to the market 
  • At least 10 to 15 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
  • Provide timely reports to director
  • Travel to travel nation wide and outstation
  • Strong leadership with good communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong ability to coach and control the team
  • Should be market orientated
  • Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Sales - FMCG / F&B industry or equivalent.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Old Klang Road.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.

Competencies should include:
  • Knowledge experience FMCG industry.
  • Strong networking in confectionery business
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems 
Job Responsibilities
  • Increase the rate of closing sales (hit rate)
  • Motivate Sales personnel
  • Conduct market research on on-going basis
  • Maintain customer relationship and customer satisfaction
  • Co-ordinate closely with marketing department
  • Provide feedback on market demand for each SKU
  • Able to train and coach the Sales team
Responsible for:
  • Sales targets for each specified time period and each SKU
  • Achieve targets and set new ones
  • Increase in Sales channels
  • Cascade goals down to Sales team
  • Control, manage and motivate sales team
  • Handle relationship with key accounts and other accounts as required
  • Mentor gen-Y managers
  • Process improvement
