PRODUCTION ENGINEER (5-7yrs Exp Food Industry/Manufacturing) - SHAH ALAM

Job Scope:

• Responsible for day to day operation and efficiency of production.
• Responsible to monitor, coach and supervise production Technicians for daily production as per planning schedule.
• Responsible for providing engineering support to production in order to sustain and improve production yield, quality and process cycle time.
• Responsible for improving production process, implementing company quality systems and conducting quality checks.
• Able to work and lead production Technicians to achieve daily production target in cost effective manner.
• To take leadership role in problem analysis and root cause finding to resolve technical challenges in a timely manner.
• Review / update existing procedures and develop new procedures with regard to equipment maintenance, process engineering, and process development.
• Responsible to plan and organize for the periodic machine maintenance.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist in developing process and quality improvement plans.
• To ensure all the production machine and equipment are compliance to the Company Safety and Health policy.
• Conduct housekeeping practices audit, review and propose improvements to housekeeping / safety rules and practices in order to create a safe, clean and tidy working environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing or equivalent qualification.
• Preferable male and age above 30 years old.
• Minimum 5 years to 7 years working experience in Japanese manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge in plastic extrusion will be an added advantage.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills, mature, analytical and able to work independently.
• Knowledge in Auto-CAD is an added advantages.
• Team Player with good interpersonal and communication skill.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to communicate (spoken & write) in Japanese language would be an added advantage.
• Possess own transport.
• Willing to work long hours.

*SALARY:RM 4000 - RM 6000
