ASST MANAGER - DISBURSEMENT & CREDIT TEAM (Shared Service Centre, KL Sentral)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assisting manager in Supervision of staff (and providing backup)
  • Assisting team with operational & accounting issues
  • Quality control auditing of disbursement accounts
  • Preparing various reports for customers & management
  • Answering customer queries in writing and verbally
  • Reconciliation of project accounts
  • Liaison with our port offices in Asia Pacific on various accounting issues

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Min. 3 years experience in an accounting role (both receivables & payables)
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills
  • Must possess some supervisory experience and able to work well as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) & Word
  • Must have an eye for detail – quality checking of disbursement accounts (AR billing)
  • Able to perform reconciliation work
  • Motivated person, with mature attitude
  • Possess knowledge of logistics & shipping industry & Credit collection experience will be added advantages
  • Able to work overtime if being required
