PROJECT ENGINEER (CIVIL/CONSTRUCTION;RM2500-RM5500) - GOMBAK/SHAH ALAM/KL

1. Job Responsibilities for Project Engineer (FRESH Grads, OR Min 1 year to 4 years working experience in Civil/Construction/ Pipe Jacking, Gombak - Selangor):-

• Co-ordinate and supervise project execution plans for the implementation of civil and structure work from project initiation, planning, commissioning and handover.
• Interaction with client, consultant, supplier and government agencies.
• Monitor and analyze the project including quality, schedule, cost and changes.
• Provide professional measures for technical matters.
• Closely monitor services provided by vendors and contractor and make timely instruction.
• Summarize project progress and review project schedule.

Requirements:

• Candidates must posses at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil /Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent) and have knowledge on Civil Engineering Basic Design.
• Required language (s) : English and Mandarin.
• At least 1 - 4 year(s) of working experience in the civil / structural / infrastructure / geotechnical works. Knowledge in pipe jacking, pipe bursting and cured in place pipe is an added advantage.
• Experience in using Microsoft Project / Primavera software.
• Fresh grads are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work in Gombak, Selangor.

2. Job Responsibilities for Civil Project Engineer (Min 2 years to 4 years working experience in Steel Structure / Civil Structure, Shah Alam - Selangor):-

• Responsible to design structural steel buildings with architectural finishing.
• Able to lead a team of drafters with shop drawing preparations.
• Work closely with the technical and project team to provide solutions.
• Understanding of regional design codes that will be applicable.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years to 4 years working experience in construction/civil/structural, or similar field.
• Must have working experience and knowledge in StaadPRO.
• Possess own transport.
• Willing to work in Shah Alam.

3. Job Responsibilities for Civil Project Engineer (Min 2 years to 3 years working experience in Water & Sewage, Shah Alam - Selangor):-

• Conduct site meetings with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and consultants on technical clarifications.
• Familiarise with project management, scheduling and costing / budgeting.
• Conduct site inspection including factory inspection of civil engineering products.
• Supervise and coordinate civil & structural related works and handing over of completed works for electrical and mechanical installation works.

Requirements:

• At least a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years to 3 years of working experience in similar roles and related field  (water & sewage industry)
• Experience in sewer network, pump stations as well as urban pipe laying works using micro tunneling and open cuts methods.
• Computer literate preferably with knowledge of AUTOCAD and Microsoft Project.
• Familiar with local authority approval system and standards on civil related matters.
• Must have sound knowledge of drawings and specifications.
• Willing to work in Shah Alam.
• Possess own transport.

4. Job Responsibilities for Structural Engineer (Min 4 years to 8 years working experience in Design Office/Structural - KL):-

•  Execution of all structural designs in accordance with project requirements, the standards and policies and all other relevant standards and requirements.
• Adherence to and implementation of the Quality Assurance Policy and Procedures applicable to Project Engineers.
• Assisting the Project Engineer in drawing up overall and specific stage programme for the company works in line with “agreed project schedule”.
• Delegation of works to supporting staff and supervision of their works.
• Liaison with project consultants and other external bodies as may be necessary for the progress of works.
• Calling for and/or attending Project Review sessions.
• Preparation of relevant reports and specifications in line with an agreed Project Programme.
• Organising production and issue of the company's drawings in line with an agreed Project Programme.
• Ensuring that Incoming Drawing Registers are kept up-to-date.
• Analysis of the works scope and reporting to Project Associate / Engineer.
• Keeping Project Associate informed of project progress.

  

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 4-8 years in a design office, conversant with design software.
• The portfolio should include work done on major structures.
• Able to work independently with flair for innovation.
• Good knowledge on ETABS, SAFE & SAP & REVIT.
• Willing to work in KL.
• Possess own transport.
