ASSISTANT TAX MANAGER / AUDIT MANAGER (Kuala Lumpur)

Nature of Business: Chartered Accountant’s firm
Working days: 5 days
Salary range: RM6000-RM8000

ASSISTANT AUDIT MANAGER

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of varied clients
  • Monitor the planning, execution and completion of audit engagements
  • Identifying potential audit issues/adjustments/operational improvements, and challenging current procedures to improve audit effectiveness and efficiency
  • Maintain good relationship with clients as well as providing guidance to the staffs in the course of performing audit assignments

Requirements:
  • At least 4 years & above experience in Public Practice, prefer 35 years of age and above
  • Possess with minimum ACCA, MACPA and ICAEW Membership
  • Well versed in IRFS/PERS/International Auditing Standards
  • Excellent knowledge of MASB, accounting and tax law and able to do file review and plan work
  • Able to lead the audit department, train and guide audit assistants
  • Hands on and computer literate with good Excel skills
  • Possess a client service mindset, good communication and writing skills

ASSISTANT TAX MANAGER

Responsibilities:
  • Overall tax compliance works of the Group of Companies.
  • Ensure completion and submission of all yearly tax returns.
  • To answer all tax related queries from LHDN/Auditors/Clients.
  • Supervise, lead and assist the tax manager in tax related matters.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate in the related field or pursuing ACCA/MIT qualification.
  • Required skill(s): MIT, ACCA, CIMA.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Proactive, able to work independently with integrity and meet deadlines.
  • Computer literate.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communications skills with good command of written and spoken English.
