ACCOUNTANT / ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT (PJ Nearby LRT, RM5000-7000)

1) ACCOUNTANT (Kelana Jaya, RM6000-7000)

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily accounting operations of the Accounts Department, and efficient supervision of staff
  • Liaison with branches and associate companies on all accounting and administration aspects
  • Ensure timely preparation of financial reports and is kept up to date with changes in relevant governing standards/ rules/ regulations
  • Monitor the cash position of the Companies, both daily & monthly
  • Monitor the payables to suppliers
  • Check & monitor debtors aging list for the companies
  • Monitor & implement the asset and stock management of the Companies
  • Liaise with the external auditors for year-end audit
  • Prepare tax computation and tax estimate for the Companies
  • Liaise with bankers on the financing arrangements for the Companies
  • Observe and assist the implementation of internal control procedure of the Companies
  • Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the management
  • Handle other administrative issues that may arise

Requirements:
  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional qualification in Accountancy and a member of MIA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in both commercial and audit
  • Possess excellent communication, negotiation, problem solving, analytical and strategic planning skills
  • A team player who works towards common goals, able to undertake pressure & meet tight deadline
  • Must be PC proficient with working knowledge of various spreadsheet
  • Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese

2) ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT (Seksyen 51A, RM3800-5500)

Responsibilities:
  • Assist manager to provide finance and administrative support to regional offices.
  • Responsible in financial accounting and reporting
  • Prepare statutory and monthly financial statements, forecast P&L accounts, cash flow and budget
  • Manage tax planning, computations and ensure compliance with corporate and local regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with independent auditors, bankers and other legal and tax advisers
  • Review the work performed by team member and provide guidance from time to time
  • Handle orders and administrative matters.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy / Finance or other relevant accounting qualification
  • Prefer to have 4-5 years of working experience, ERP / Oracle system literate & regional exposure will be added advantages
  • Proactive, independent, result-oriented, self-motivated, detail-minded, able to work under pressure
  • Able to travel occasionally
  • Good command in Chinese and English

Salary Range: RM5,000 - RM7,000
