PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE/PURCHASING EXECUTIVE (5 Days basis) RM2500 -RM3500

Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
  • 3 Full-Time position(s) available.
 Job Responsibilities

1. JUNIOR PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE ~ Taman Perindustrian Jaya, Petaling Jaya
Salary range = RM2500 - RM2800

Requirements:
• A diploma or degree in Procurement Management / Supply Chain Management / Logistics Management or equivalent.
• 2 years of working experience in Procurement Management. However, working experience in Supply Chain Management and / or Logistics Management would be an advantage.

 Responsibilities:
 To assist the Assistant Procurement Manager to source for services, such as sea freight and clearance, at the lowest price possible without compromising  reliability of delivery  in order to meet our customers’ (internal and external) expectations.
• To assist the Assistant Procurement Manager in finding new suppliers for existing/ new products or to obtain new/stock items with existing suppliers at competitive prices.
• To source and follow up for truck and forklift repair and service firms at competitive prices.
• To verify invoices upon receipt to check that they agree to the quotations.
• To work closely with the Sales, Logistics and Finance departments using the Rolling Forecast and priorities outlined in the Allocation Meeting to establish supply priority for both products and suppliers.
• To notify our suppliers about customer and product requirements by providing them with the details from the 3-Monthly Rolling Forecast.
• To work with our key supply partners on production plans and stock holding requirements and to ensure production dates are adhered to so that no ‘out of stock’ situation occurs.
• To purchase products based on the priority given to products at the weekly Allocation Meeting.
• To prepare and update supplier product costing for changes in prices and currency fluctuations and to do NPD costing.
• To obtain PI / invoice from the suppliers /export agents, and ensure the prices agree with our PO.
• To issue the LC/TT Request Form to the Finance department for the payment of goods after agreement for purchases have been obtained from the weekly Allocation Meeting. To also get the Assistant Procurement Manager, Financial Controller and Production Planning and Logistics Manager to approve the LC/TT Request Form.
• To establish an effective supplier database system in order to show the available alternative suppliers for each product in any country required by the Company.
• To provide accurate and timely feedback to the Assistant Procurement Manager on the status of projects, including discussions and negotiations with suppliers.
• As and when required to work on special projects requested by the Assistant Procurement Manager

Skills:
• Proficient in BM, English and Mandarin.
• Experienced in Purchasing.
• Experienced in Production Planning and Stock Holding Requirements.
• Able to negotiate to get the best prices from suppliers.
• Experienced in shipping and clearance procedures.
• Able to communicate and work with all levels of people.
• Able to plan, organized and able to coordinate effectively.
• Computer literate in MS Office, MS Word applications, etc.
• Analytical and good in solving problems

2. PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE ~ Shah Alam ;
Salary range = RM2500 - RM3500

Requirements :
- Degree in any discipline of studies.
- Preferably with 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is a must.
- Candidates with purchasing experience in various products & services such as    premium items, incentive trips, event management, fixed assets items as well as    exposure in Green Procurement will be of advantage
- Good communication and negotiation skills with good command of English.
- Able to work independently, detail oriented, resourceful and honest.

Responsibilities :
- Responsible for processing of Purchase Requisitions, generating Purchase Orders,  and processing of Invoices.
- Supplier Management inclusive of negotiation with suppliers for better pricing and quality and coordination of supplier evaluation exercise.
- Identify new and potential suppliers and strengthen vendor base.
- Maintenance of Canon’s e-procurement system.
- Maintain proper filling and records.

3. PURCHASING EXECUTIVE (JAPANESE SPEAKER) ~ Subang Hi-Tech Industry Park
Salary range = RM2200 - RM3000

Responsibilities:
• Managing the daily operations of the office.
• Organizing and maintaining files and records.
• Planning and scheduling for production.
• Managing projects and conducting material searching.
• Preparing and editing correspondence, reports and presentations of department.
• Meeting with vendors arrangements.
• Providing quality internal & external customer service.
• Daily tracing and report of purchasing & fabrication status (vendor and inter-dept.).
• ISO 9001 documentations controls especially on vendor evaluation.
• As a middle person between QA and vendor for fabrication parts (quality issue).
• Support month end closing jobs.

Requirements:
• Possess a Degree from a recognized institution preferably from an engineering or process management  discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience.
• Communication in Japanese is preferable but not a compulsory.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Words & Power Point) & other PC knowledge.
• Highly motivated and able to execute instruction with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team.
