RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle daily closing of accounts and other daily transactions, complete with proper reconciliation and dealing with various personnel and government authorities.
- Data processing, checking & posting. Customer accounts reconciliation & correct discrepancies as necessary.
- Monitor overdue accounts and preparation of journal entries, credit notes, debit notes and official receipts.
- Responsible in financial and management reports & ad-hoc reports when required.
- Maintain Rebate Statement and ensure figures are accurate.
- Ensure and maintain all filing is updated in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in preparing documents for audit purpose.
- Assist, implementing and monitoring projects as and when necessary directed by superiors.
- Any other relevant tasks as assigned by superiors as and when requested.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/ Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree/ Professional Degree of Business Studies/Administration/Management/Finance/ Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of working accounting experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Able to communicate in English, Chinese & Malay.
- Able to interact and communicate at all level of management and staff.
- Able to meet tight deadlines with a sense of urgency.
